Throughout his career, Dr. Calcagno has led numerous studies across a broad range of therapeutic areas, demonstrating a deep commitment to scientific rigor, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.

Dr. Calcagno has overseen all phases of clinical trials, from early-phase studies to late-phase, multi-center trials, and has extensive experience in study design, protocol implementation, patient recruitment and retention, data monitoring, and regulatory submissions. His expertise in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and FDA/EMA compliance ensures that studies are conducted to the highest standards and are inspection ready.

Dr. Calcagno has also successfully partnered with sponsors, CROs, and multidisciplinary research teams, acting as a Medical Monitor on past clinical trials.
